We live in a world with systemic issues that contribute to economic and class injustice. As a result, we offer a sliding scale for our clients. We want to make our services as accessible as possible, while also paying ourselves fairly.
Pricing
Alpaca
$15/half an hour
or
$20/hour
Cashmere
$25/half an hour
or
$40/hour
Angora
$45/half an hour
or
$80/hour
Here is a very brief rundown of how we determined the sliding scale:
The highest rate (Angora) is our actual hourly service rate. If you choose a price below the top tier, you are receiving a discount.
The middle rate (Cashmere) is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little expendable income. Paying for our services may be a sacrifice but it would not create hardship.
The lowest rate (Alpaca) is for those who struggle to meet basic needs and paying for our services would be a significant hardship.
We learned about this and adapted it from Alexis J. Cunningfolk’s Green Bottle model of the sliding scale. We encourage you to read her blog to learn more about it, and how you can contribute to a more equitable society for all.

I offer in-person services in Baltimore City. I’m willing to travel, and will charge a travel fee if it’s outside of the city proper.

It depends. If you need help troubleshooting a problem, it’s best to meet in person so I can see it myself. If it’s a very easy fix, we might be able to do it virtually. Shopping and pattern picking sessions can definitely be done online.

No, but that’s a great idea! 😂 More money is always great, but I’m here for YOU. If I earned commission, I would probably be biased about what I recommend, don’t you think? I don’t earn any commission and what I suggest is limited to what I am aware of!

All payments must be made via venmo (@lapetitepink) before the session. No refunds offered, rainchecks offered within three months of purchase.
Hi, I’m Christina!
I’ve been knitting since 2004 and crocheting for the past five years. I have a love/hate relationship with crafting. I love the beginning and the end - picking out yarn and seeing the finished product. I kind of hate the middle part. 😂
I have heard countless times from people how they started to learn how to knit or crochet and gave up for whatever reason. I’m here to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ve made everything from scarves to blankets to sweaters - and I’m always learning myself!
If you’re in Baltimore, let’s get together so you can get your crafting game on. If you’re outside of Baltimore, maybe we can have some virtual sessions! Either way, email me and let’s craft!
